Today I got a banjo!
Soon I will be a pickin' and a grinnin'. I can't wait. Anyone coming to the farm for 4th of July weekend will get a chance to see it in action. I am going to try my best to get through some of the Banjo for Beginners book that Ernie brought home before the weekend. Wonder if I can get a little tune memorized in time.
Not sure why I wanted the banjo. I just always wanted one. My Aunt Marjorie had one. When I was growing up I always thought it was so cool that she could play the banjo. And she lived on a farm too. Maybe I have been channeling her lately.

Very cool! I tried the banjo and it never worked out!! AND...I cut bangs a couple of months ago and I love them. Embrace the bangs.
