So, this morning I woke up and stripped our bed and the boys beds. Folded a load of laundry. Put a second load in the wash. Baked a slew of summer savory biscuits (no idea what Summer Savory is, some sort of herb we got from the CSA last week) and two pans of Zucchini Bread. Do you think this could be "nesting"? Hmmm...I do hope so.
Doc appointment today at 3:00.
Still waiting. It can't be long now. Can it?
UPDATE: At doctor's office the nurse (who used to be a doula) recommended I try Evening Primrose Oil. So off I went to CVS to get some. So far I have taken two capsules - 1000 mg each. I also went for a loooooonng walk in the neighborhood after the boys went to sleep. Let's hope this does the trick!

Can't wait to hear how your appointment goes!
This is a going to be a baby weekend. I can feel it. ;-)
Definitely sounds like nesting! Have you scrubbed floors yet?
I've heard that a salad with balsamic vinegar works to start labor. Really, I heard that a few years back this was all the rage. Some restaurant in California had this balsamic vinegar salad that sent woman into labor.
Are you sick of "how to start labor" suggestions? Please don't hit me with a bottle of balsamic vinegar. :-)
I've heard of the salad as well.
You can use a laxative and supposedly that's to help things along but a friend had it backfire.
She went into labor alright but everything wasn't quite cleaned out and she had a horrifically embarrassing story that followed.
Enjoy the last few cuddles with your baby in-utero. I miss those days!
At least you'll have some yummy food to come home to.
Thanks for all the helpful advice. The nurse/doula at my doctor's office today recommended Evening Primrose Oil. I just took 2 capsules, each are 2000mg. Then I went for a long walk in the neighborhood. Let's hope tonight is the night!!
If not, I will definitely have a balsamic vinegar tonic for breakfast :-)
